Part 1: Foundations
Dr. Michael L. Lipton presents a 7-part introductory course surveying the breadth of neuroscience. This project, supported and distributed by the Walder Science Foundation in 2023, is designed to introduce advanced high school students to the field of neuroscience. The lecture series was a part of the foundation’s “Jerusalem Science Contest” for 2023. Brain Facts, a primer on neuroscience published by the Society for Neuroscience, serves as the textbook for the lecture series.
