Wouter completed his PhD in Clinical Investigation in the lab as. Burroughs-Wellcome Fellow. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Radiology and then took a position in scientific publishing with Elsevier.
Todd Rubin, MD, PhD
Todd completed his Neuroscience PhD dissertation in the lab. He went on to a research-focused residency in neurology and Mount Sinai in New York.
Liane Hunter, MD, PhD
Liane completed her PhD in Clinical Investigation in the lab. She went on to residency in Neurology at Montefiore-Einstein and will complete a Fellowship in Cognitive Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Cara Levitch, PhD
Cara worked in the lab as part of her Psychology dissertation work at Fordham University. After earning her PhD, Cara went on to postdoctoral training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and then was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU.
Tiago Gil Oliveira, MD, PhD
Tiago was a visiting fellow in the lab during his Neuroradiology training at the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal, where he was subsequently appointed to the faculty.
Sloan Sheldon, PhD
Sloan worked in the lab while a PhD candidate at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. After completing her PhD, Sloan went on to complete postdoctoral training and took a position as Assistant Professor in Neurology at Mount Sinai New York.
Matthew Getzin, PhD
Matthew worked in the lab while completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He went on to work in imaging science in industry.
Lauren Strainge, PhD
Lauren worked in the lab while a master’s student in psychology at Columbia. She subsequently earned her PhD from the University of Connecticut and went on to postdoctoral training in psychology.
Kristin Ashley Wright, PhD
Kristin was a graduate rotation student while completing her PhD in Neuroscience at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Nahmee Kim, PhD
Namhee is a biostatistician who came to work as a postdoctoral fellow and subsequently was appointed Assistant Professor of Radiology, working in the Lipton Lab. Namhee subsequently went on to a position as Assistant Professor in the Ruch University Alzheimer Disease Research Center

Anna was a research student in the lab while at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She matched at Montefiore-Einstein for Radiology. Anna earned a master’s in clinical research while a thoracic radiology fellow at Montefiore-Einstein and went on to become Section Chief for Thoracic Radiology at Yale.

Edwin continued work with the lab during his post-graduate training in Radiology and Neuroradiology at Einstein-Montefiore and was a NY State Psychiatry Neuroimaging Fellow. As a resident, Edwin was the First Prize winner at Montefiore Medical Center Radiology Research Day in 20013 for his work in the Lipton Lab at Montefiore. He joined the faculty of New York Medical College.
