Clinical Research Coordinator

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Coordinator will have diverse responsibilities in the laboratory including MRI and behavioral data collection from human subjects, data management, quality assessment and reporting, computer-based image processing and analysis and statistical analysis. Additional duties will relate to operations of the laboratory including ordering and management of equipment and supplies, data collection, participant assessments, website updates and assistance with preparation of publications and grant applications. The Clinical Research Coordinator will work closely with the PI, as well as with other faculty, technicians and trainees within the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a science or social science discipline.
Two years of research experience and/or equivalent in training and experience in clinical/research care.

Other Requirements

  • Comfort working with computer-based applications is required.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix or other command-line-based computer operating systems, scientific computing (e.g., Matlab, IDL), programming (e.g., shell scripting, C++), database (e.g., MS Access, SQL) and statistical software (e.g., STATA, SAS, SPSS) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently is required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is needed.
